Ryan Schwartz is a Sales Intern at KW Commercial 889-9898 with Russell Bernstein, CBI. He is a rising Senior at Tulane University in New Orleans, LA. At Tulane, Ryan is a Management and Legal Studies for Business double major and is expected to graduate in May 2021.
Ryan is from the Washington, D.C. area where he gained an interest in commercial real estate development. In July 2019, Ryan completed a minor in Real Estate Development from the Tulane School of Architecture. Ryan's group won the real estate case study project with his proposal to renovate a blighted building located in New Orleans. Ryan then took this learning to the real world with an internship at PRP Real Estate Investment Management for the remainder of Summer 2019. It was a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment in which Ryan consistently sought opportunities to learn and get better at understanding multi-family and commercial real estate.
Throughout High School and College, Ryan volunteered at Habitat for Humanity. During his time at Habitat for Humanity, Ryan renovated houses and improved communities through teamwork, generosity and leadership. Ryan is also a member of Phi Gamma Delta at Tulane University where he serves several leadership roles including Rush Committee and Social Committee.
Ryan is a member of the Tulane Intramural Basketball team. Ryan has played basketball at a high level throughout his life, and he continues that tradition in college. Ryan participates in weekly practices with the team and serves a leadership role among the team members. Ryan also enjoys golf and tennis, which he has played since his youth.
In addition to sports, Ryan's hobbies include cooking and music. By living in New Orleans for his college years, Ryan has grown to love the proud culture of New Orleans. Ryan is excited to gain new skills from this internship that can help him in his career. Ultimately, Ryan hopes to be a positive addition to the KW Commercial team.
