Ben Malech is a Sales Intern at KW Commercial 889-9898 with Russell Bernstein, CBI. Ben is a Sophomore pursuing B.A's in Finance and Philosophy at the Tulane University A.B. Freeman School of Buisness. Ben expects to graduate in the Spring of 2023 and pursue a job in management consulting or investments. He also has a strong desire to continue investing in the stock market and in real estate.
Over the summer, Ben co-founded a real estate investment firm called Great Arbor Capital LLC., which pursues properties that will produce substantial rental income. He began cultivating an understanding of financial valuation modeling in excel and used his skills to identify numerous lucrative leads. Through his experience conducting real estate transactions, Ben has realized the importance of thoroughly conducting due diligence and analyzing risk.
In high school, Ben was a member of the H2YP Youth Philanthropy Board at CES Life Communities, which was a panel of students responsible for allocating $25,000 to multiple improvements to a senior living community. He gained valuable experience in budgeting, collaboration, and bringing smiles to the faces of people who deserve our support. In college, Ben volunteered at Upturn Arts, which is a non-profit that coordinates after-school activities and camps for underprivileged children. He planned and facilitated art projects for the children to engage with in their after-school camp, as well as aided in fundraising efforts at the organization’s yearly gala.
Ben won a Maryland state championship with his ice hockey team in high school and now, plays on the club Ultimate Frisbee team at Tulane. He was the president and VP of recruitment for his BBYO youth group chapter in high school. Ben coordinated multiple team-building and recruitment events, in which he supported the cultivation of a strong brother while doubling chapter membership.
Outside of school, Ben loves to watch sports with friends, build audio speakers, invest in the stock market, and listen to Rock and Rap music. Once the COVID-19 situation concludes, Ben would be ecstatic to attend concerts again!
