Andrew Butkovich is a Marketing Intern & Spanish Language Specialist for KW Commercial 889-9898 with Russell Bernstein, CBI. Andrew is a Spanish and French Major at the University of Kentucky in Lexington where he has lived the past 2 years.
Before interning with Russell Bernstein, Andrew had prior work experience as a Constituent Advisor for U.S Senator Sherrod Brown in Columbus, Ohio. He worked alongside the senator and other caseworkers to ensure each constituent had their voice heard. He held meetings with constituents and communicated their concerns to the senator. He is also an active member in student government at the University of Kentucky.
After his Freshman year in college, Andrew lived in Buenos Aires, Argentina, for half a year to better understand a different culture. He perfected his Spanish while going to the Universidad de Belgrano and had the opportunity to network outside of the United States. It was an important experience for his future in Lexington as well as for after graduation.
Andrew also loves to volunteer and play sports in his free time. He played competitive soccer for almost ten years and plays on the club team at the University of Kentucky. He also enjoys training for and doing triathlons in his free time. Andrew also volunteered at a primary school in Argentina for a few months as an English teacher.
Andrew is excited to improve his marketing skills with KW Commercial, especially with the Spanish language. He is passionate about new cultures since the marketing community is very diverse. The ability to speak multiple languages is a valuable asset and working in real estate offers many opportunities for practice and global networking.
