Julianne is a Sales Intern at KW Commercial 889-9898, with Russell Bernstein, CBI. She is a second-year Entrepreneurship major, with a minor in Venture Creation and Honors at Nova Southeastern University. She is expected to graduate in May 2022.
Julianne is from Augusta, New Jersey, and has a strong passion for Real Estate. She grew up watching her mom run three businesses while supporting and raising two children as a single mom. Her mom owns commercial buildings where Julianne assists in advertising spaces for lease and managing the leases, fees and maintenance. This is where she developed her interest in real estate, and the business world as a whole.
Currently she is enrolled in a Real Estate License course through Real Estate Express. Julianne plans to pass the exam and obtain her license by the end of this Fall semester. She is looking forward to working with the sales team where she can use her knowledge and skills to gain experience in sales.
During her time at NSU, she participated in many on-campus organizations such as Razor’s Edge Shark Cage, Huizenga Business Innovation Academy, Delta Phi Epsilon, and Strategic Forum. The Razor’s Edge Shark Cage Scholars Program is a combined bachelor’s and master’s program for first time in college students interested in becoming entrepreneurs. As a member, she presents Shark Pitches and Shark Funding Pitches for a business to start and run on-campus. Julianne is the CEO of My Dorm to Yours, a college dorm consignment business that engages the campus community and makes students college living experience easier and more affordable.
Outside of school and extracurriculars, Julianne enjoys playing sports and being active. During high school, Julianne spent most of her time playing sports; she played Field Hockey, Basketball and Lacrosse. Although she doesn’t play on the collegiate level, Julianne is President of the Women’s Lacrosse Club at NSU and participates in intramural sports.
Julianne has many interests and is always eager to learn. She loves traveling, going to the beach, reading, working out, and spending time with her friends and family. She hopes to learn and contribute as much as she can to the KW internship so that she can use this experience to help her fulfill her future goals.
